Bring the wild spirit of the sea of with this wonderful Razorbill Sea bird artwork into your home. Created for the January’s Birbfest challenge, this illustration captures this bird's black, dark brown also blue hue coloured feather plumage and the unique white patterns on their beaks. A great way to bring in the wonder of the natural world indoors. This Bird painting has a plain off-white background, I wanted to keep the focus entirely on the bird itself.

 To get the textures just right, I layered watercolours, coloured pencils, and acrylic markers. This mix helps the feathers look detailed and touchable. I painted this on 300gsm hot-pressed smooth watercolour paper, which has a lovely soft texture that beautifully complements the fine line work and vibrant colours.

 Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift for a bird lover or wanting to add life to a gallery wall, this piece brings a calm, natural feel to any space.
